Mental Health Gap Action Programme Training in Primary Care
3-7 June 2024 - Antakya, Hatay
10-14 June - İskenderun, Hatay
24-28 June - Antakya, Hatay
Mental Health Gap Action Programme Training in Primary Care was held in Antakya and Iskenderun in 3 sessions with the financial support of the European Union and the World Health Organization within the scope of the Social Inclusion Project for Persons with Mental Disabilities in cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
These trainings aim to equip primary care providers to treat mental, neurological and substance use disorders in non-specialized settings.
The severe psychological impact of emergencies in both the short and long term, coupled with the shortage of mental health professionals for the large population affected by the earthquake, makes these trainings essential for comprehensive mental health services.
