ABOUT THE PROJECT
Social Inclusion of Persons with Mental Disabilities Project
The EU-funded Social Inclusion for Persons with Mental Disabilities Project was initiated after the WHO Regional Director for Europe and the Turkish Contracting Authority signed the agreement on 25 July 2018. This project follows the footsteps of the previous Social Inclusion for Persons with Mental Disabilities Project, also completed with EU funding, and is in line with the commitments of Government of Türkiye to improve the services for persons with mental disabilities and EU strategic action directives on disability and mental health.

Social inclusion is to ensure that all individuals and groups in the society have adequate and equal access to fundamental rights and that they feel themselves as a valuable and important part of society.
