Fourth Annual Training Networks Meeting

July 20-21, 2026, Ankara

The Fourth Annual Training Networks Meeting on the Effectiveness of Community Mental Health Centres was held with the participation of more than 80 mental health professionals, government representatives and relevant stakeholders from across Türkiye. The meeting assessed the current state of community-based mental health services and identified priorities for their continued improvement.

During the meeting, participants were presented with the findings of the Community Mental Health Centres Needs Assessment, which covered all 192 centres operating across Türkiye. The assessment provided a comprehensive overview of service delivery, workforce capacity, physical conditions and operational needs.

Based on the findings, participants discussed the strengths of the centres, areas requiring further development and practical measures to improve the quality of services. Key areas of discussion included strengthening service standards, enhancing coordination between institutions and supporting the professional capacity of the workforce.
