Training on Prevention of Violence Against Women - Problem Management Plus (PM+) Facilitator Training
8-12 December 2025 - Hatay
The Training on Prevention of Violence Against Women, alongside the Problem Management Plus (PM+) Facilitator Training, was successfully conducted in Hatay between 8 and 12 December.
The training on prevention of violence against women aimed to strengthen participants’ capacity to identify, assess, and respond to risks of violence against women, in line with the World Health Organization’s guidelines on prevention and survivor-centred response.
In parallel, the PM+ Facilitator Training equipped participants with the competencies required to deliver WHO’s evidence-based PM+ programme. The training focused on providing structured, brief psychological support to individuals experiencing stress, adversity, or trauma, particularly in earthquake-affected communities.
The trainings were implemented under the Social Inclusion of Persons with Mental Disabilities Project, jointly funded by the European Union and the World Health Organization, and carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Health.
