Early Adolescent Skills for Emotions (EASE) Facilitator Training
July 20-29, 2026, Ankara
Early Adolescent Skills for Emotions (EASE) Facilitator Training was completed in Ankara, marking an important milestone in expanding the programme across Türkiye. With newly trained facilitators, the programme is now better positioned to reach more adolescents, particularly in earthquake-affected provinces.
Developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), EASE is an evidence-based group intervention designed to help adolescents aged 10 to 15 develop practical skills to cope with stress and emotional challenges. The programme also includes dedicated sessions for caregivers, encouraging active family involvement and creating a supportive environment for adolescents' emotional wellbeing.
Implemented under the Social Inclusion of Persons with Mental Disabilities Project, jointly funded by the European Union and WHO, EASE is carried out by WHO in collaboration with the Ministry of Family and Social Services and the Ministry of Health. By expanding the pool of trained facilitators, the programme is increasing access to structured, evidence-based psychosocial support for adolescents across Türkiye.
